Member's Meeting
The second Monday of each month AWS holds their member's meeting, at Paws and Paddle. The meetings are open to the public and start at 7:30pm. All are invited to attended. (860) 354-1350 for more information.

We are pleased to announce that our shelter has extended it hours on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. We extended the hours on Tuesdays to make it easier for those who could not make our normal hours. Our hours for Wednesday through Saturday will continue to be 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
New to our website you will find a way to donate your old car and have the proceeds go directly to our shelter. Simply click on the below Picture of the car and you will be directed to a form to fill out and Pick your charity. Remember to click on Animal Welfare Society, Inc to make sure your dontation makes it to our shelter.

Have interest in getting a kitten? No need to go to the Local Pet Shop. Currently, AWS is seeking excellent homes for the 35 kittens we have at the Shelter. Please stop by the Shelter if your interested
Village Fair Days 2008
Visit the AWS both at the 2008 Village Fair Days. We will have gift baskets to local shops, give aways, informational hand outs, pictures of our animals, and of course our WORLD Famous T-Shirts for sale (only $15.00 with ALL proceeds going to AWS). We will also be unveiling our Training Center Drawing.
Meet our sweet little Sheba Inu Sonny. This little girl was handed over to our shelter on a Tuesday with very little information on her. After a bit of detective work we were able to find out that she needs some medical tests to help better care for her and place her. The shelter has been under a tremendous strain this year with the amount of animals that have come thru our doors. If you could find it in your heart to help us with the cost of the medical tests you will be making a great difference in this wonderful girls life.
